DESCRIPTION

Our memory letter cushions are keepsakes made from your loved ones clothing. They are a lovely way to deal with grief and treasure the memories of loved ones, and turn their clothes into something you can treasure forever.

The letters are stitched with your loved ones fabric, then filled with a hollowfibre stuffing, which results in a cushion that can be used as decoration but are also a soft and huggable cushion, that can make you feel closer to your loved one.

LETTERS

  • The letter cushions can be made from any letter of the alphabet, numbers or symbols
  • Single cushions for a loved ones initial or "G" for grandad
  • Use multiple cushions to spell names or MUM or DAD
  • These cushions can stand upright but may need support - especially letters like F, J, and P

CLOTHING

  • The cushions can be made from shirts, t-shirts or blouses
  • Each letter has 4 parts (front, middle, back and piping detail), so can be made from  1 to 4 items
  • If sending more than 1 item, please add a note for parts preference

PRODUCT DETAILS

  • Each letter is slightly different width, but all cushions are approx. 25cm tall and 7cm thick.
  • Stuffing is a hollowfibre filling
  • Please note this product is not suitable for children under 14 years of age and is meant as a keepsake not a toy. This is because the nature of using your recycled clothes, means the keepsakes can not be CE tested

Clothing

I have lots of clothing, can I send it all?

Feel free to send what clothing you want, and we'll use what we can and return what is not used. If there are certain items you prefer, please just add an order note.

Can you return unused clothing pieces?

Of course, just choose the "return clothing" option when placing the order.

Can you use a certain logo / image?

Please add a note saying what you'd like to be used & where. If there are any issues when it comes to sewing, we'll send you an email.

Can you make keepsakes out of all clothing?

We can use most clothing. We can back more delicate fabrics before sewing, so even thin fabric (such as lace / scarfs) or loose knitted jumpers can be used.

Personalisation

Can I order several items with different personalisation?

Yes. Just add a note in the personalisation field saying what you'd like on each item, making a note if you want certain clothing.

If there is any confusion, we'll email you before starting your order.

Do you take custom requests?

Please reach out if you want anything that isn't on the website, and we are always willing to make new things!

How do I get clothing to you?

After you place an order, you'll receive an email with an address to post your clothing to. Be sure to also include your name / order number, so we know who's order the clothing belongs to!
